An item referred to the magazine Schiffsbau dated 4 December 1929 reported the launching of the Japanese submarine minelayer Tsubame (1) at Yokohama, Japan. Laid down on 17 September 1928. Displacement 500 tons and surfaced speed of 20 miles.
