Shipbuilding activities at the Romanian Turnu Severin shipyards according to a CIA report dated 2 August 1951

An item reported that the Romanian Turnu Severin shipyards were building for the Soviet Union seagoing ships similar to the Seksna with a varying tonnage of 750-1.000 tons. Two ships were completed just before 1 June 1951. Furthermore were barges with a capacity of 1.200-1.300 ton to be used on the Volga and Dnieper under construction.
