The Austrian DDSG motor tug Freudenau active on the Danube according to a CIA report dated 29 June 1955

An item dated 15 May 1955 reported the Austrian DDSG (Sowjetische Donau Dampf Schiffahrts Gesellschaft m.b.H.) motor tug Freudenau on the Danube off DKM 1907 while towing with grain loaded barges towards Budapest, Hungary. She was again sighted on 21 May off Vienna, Austria while towing empty barges coming from Csepel Harbour.(1)

1. The DDSG (Sowjetische Donau Dampf Schiffahrts Gesellschaft m.b.H.) was controlled by the Soviet Union between 1945-1955.
