Laid down by Harland and Wolff, Belfast, Ireland with yard number 400 on 16 December 1906, launched on 20 October 1910, completed on 31 May 1911, maiden voyage begun on 14 June 1911, in the First World War used as troop transport between the USA and Europe, laid up in 1935 and between 1936-1937 broken up. Of the Olympic-class consisting of the Olympic, Titanic and Britannic. Between 1911-1945 owned by the White Star Line and between 1934-1935 by the Cunard White Star Line.
