Czechoslovakian motor tug Petr Bezrucz completed according to a CIA report dated 30 November 1949

An item reported that shipyards at Prague, Czechoslovakia completed the first Czech tug built in Czechoslovakia since the Second World War. The motor tug Petr Bezrucz was to be used for Czech transit transport on the Odra and had a towing capacity of 5 barges loaded with totally 2.00-2.500 tons against the current. As soon as the water level in the river Veltava was sufficient was she to depart from the shipyard with as destination the Odra via the Elbe and the Kiel Canal.
