The Bulgarian anti submarine launches according to a CIA report dated 27 September 1957

An item reported that the Bulgarian navy possessed between the 15-20 grey painted iron build around 15 metres long anti submarine launches or Protivopond Botni Kateri (M.C.K.) built in Russia and later handed over to the Bulgarian navy. Machinery consisted of Russian manufactured oil fuelled diesel engines allowing a speed of 18-2o miles. Their crew numbered 5-6 men. Armament consisted of 1 anti aircraft machine gun mounded on the bridge and further more depth bombs. Fitted out with wireless sets consisting of receiver-transmitters. Usually lying in the naval base.
