Launched with yard number 551 by Sun Shipbuilding&Dry Dock Company Inc., Chester Philadelpia, USA on 21 November 1945 for account of the Dutch cabinet, delivered on 11 March 1946 to the N.V. Rotterdamsche Lloyd, Rotterdam, Netherlands with call sign PFOS. Since 1970 owned by the Ruys Transport Groep N.V. and managed by the Koninklijke Nedlloyd N.V., both at Rotterdam, Netherlands. Sold to be broken up in June 1971, departed on 6 July 1971 from Brisbane towards Kaohsiung, Taiwan arriving on 11 August 1971, where the Tung Ho Steel&Iron Co. Ltd. Started on 25 October with her breaking up which was completed by 20 November 1971.
