Large barge launched at Sovromtransport shipyard Galati, Romania according to a CIA report dated August 1950

An item referred to the newspaper Viata Sindicala No. 819 dated 19 May 1950 reporting the launching at the Sovromtransport shipyard Galati, Romania of a new 1.000 tons bottom barge33 days ahead of the scheduled launching date. A Seiner fishing vessel was also well in advance of the scheduled date launched.
