Thaelmann Shipyard, Brandenburg, East Germany building lighters according to a CIA report dated 5 August 1953

An item reported that the Thaelmann Shipyard, Brandenburg, East Germany was to built the lighters 505/1 and 505/2 under the 1953 shipbuilding program at her B Plant at Plaue alongside he Havel river. Dimensions were 35-40 x 6-7 metres. The propulsion consisted of 1-300/400hp Buckau-Wolf diesel. .
