Canadian fishing and sealing schooner Emélite in 1867

Homeport House Harbour (Magdalen Islands). Active on the cod fishery along the North shore of the St. Lawrence river. Captain L. Bourque. Tonnage 27 tons. Crew numbered 10 men. Catch of 150 cwts cod. Active in the sealing leaving House Harbor for the ice on 24 March. Number of killed seals 88 and a value of 440 US dollars.
