An item reported that the at Peterhead, Scotland fitted out steam whaler Maginthien with a cargo capacity of 408 tons had in 1872 as catch results while active in Greenland 120 seals, 3 whales, 23 hectolitres seal oil, 423 hectolitres whale oil, total 266 litres oil and 625 kilo whalebone.
