An item reported that the at Peterhead, Scotland fitted out whaler Alibi with a cargo capacity of 338 tons had in 1872 as catch results while active in Greenland 401 seals, 1 whale, 75 hectolitres seal oil, 197 hectolitres whale oil, total 272 litres oil and 600 kilo whalebone.
