Arrival of the Dutch Davis Strait whaler Boomryk in the Vlie Texel on 29 July according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 5 August 1758

Texel, 31 July. Arrival on 29 July of the Dutch whaler Boomryk, commandeur Jan Pietersz Hoen, 9 whales, 400 quardelen coming from Davis Strait.(1)

1. Commandeur between 1754-1773 for Jan and Christiaan van Taarlink, Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 1758 also 614 quardelen whale oil.
