Replica van a 3-mast barque built by the Scottish shipwright John Munn at Quebec, Canada in 1847. Laid down by The Jeanie Johnston (Ireland) Company Ltd., Blennerville, Tralee in 1998, launched on 6 May 2000, baptized on 7 May 2000, completed in 2002 and begun her maiden voyage in March 2003. Owned by the Dublin Docklands Development Authority and operated by the Aiseanna Mara Teoranta. Museum ship annex training ship. IMO 8633671, MMSI 250271000 and call sign EIJL. Gross tonnage 301 tons and as dimensions 37,5 (deck)-47 (over all) x 8 x 28 (air draft) x 4,6 metres or 123.0-154.2 x 26.3 x 91.10 x 15.1 feet. Sail area 645 square metres/6.940 square feet. Also 2x290hp diesels and 1 67hp bow thruster.
