Dutch Greenland commandeur Riewert Dirksz returned according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 16 August 1721

 

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 15 August reported the arrival at Texel, Netherlands of the Dutch commandeur Rieuwert Dirksz returning with 11 whales from Greenland.(1)

1. Commandeur between 1711-1732, in 1721 for Michiel Bruynvis, Zaandam, Netherlands 11 whales 400 barrels blubber.
