Japanese cargo ship Tokati Maru 1939-1943

Built by Tsurumi Seitetsu Zosen K.K. for Hokkaido Tanko Kisen K.K. with yard number 377 in 1939 and sunk after hitting a mine on 28 January 1943 off Semarang, Java, Dutch East Indies. Gross register tonnage 1.932 tons and as dimensions 84.8 x 12.19 x 6.49 metres or 278 x 40 x 9 (light)-18 (loaded) feet. Collier. The reciprocating steam propulsion supplied 263 nhp allowing a speed of 11 (cruising)-14 (maximum) knots and with a speed of 11 knots and a coal bunker capacity of 230 tons was her range 2.800 nautical miles.
