An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 26 March of the American whaling ship Calumet captain Hancock 17 months out 1,600 barrels whale oil 200 barrels sperm oil 18,000 lbs bone, in distress after the late gale at Miui, lost chain, anchor, bowsprit and so on.
