Former Hungarian ship Neptun rebuilt at Freudena, Austria according to a CIA report dated 28 November 1952

An item reported that at the shipyard at Freudenau, Austria the ship Liraspol (the former Hungarian Neptun) was rebuilt, receiving a boiler while lying in the harbour and now waiting to be towed towards Korneuburg, Austria for completion.(1)

Note

1. Austria was after the Second World War divided by the Allies in four zones including a Soviet one, regaining full independence on 15 May 1955.
