Italian destroyer Antonio Pigafetta 1928-1945 (1947)

Laid down by Kvarner, River on 29 December 1928, launched on 10 November 1929, commissioned on 1 May 1931, captured by the Germans on 10 September 1943, added as the TA 44 to the 9th Torpedoboote Flotilla on 14 October 1944, sunk during an Allied air attack on Trieste on 17 February 1945 and broken up in 1947.

General specifications. Of the Navigatore-class, succeeded by Turbine-class and succeeded by Freccia-class, developed as an answer on the French Jaguar and Guépard-classes.
