Laid down by Missouri Valley Bridge&Iron Company, Evansville, Indiana, USA on 28 December 1944, launched on 9 February 1945, commissioned as LST 110 on 1 March 1945, renamed San Bernardino County on 1 July 1955, decommissioned on 15 August 1958, sold to Taiwan on 16 August 1958, stricken on 6 February 1959 from US Navy list and decommissioned in 1993. LST-542 class. Displacement 1.625-4.080 (full load) tons and as dimensions 316 (waterline)-328 (over all) x 50 x 14 (maximum) feet. Armament consisted of 6-4cm anti aircraft guns and 12-2cm anti aircraft guns. The diesel machinery supplied 1.700 bhp via 2 shafts allowing a speed of 11 knots. Crew numbered 117 men.
