Laid down by Sasebo Navy Yard, Japan in July 1911, launched on 7 November 1911, completed in November 1911, modernized at the Kure Navy Yard between April-July 1937, served in China, surrendered in August 1945, became the Chinese Nationalist Yang Chi and the Chinese Communist Ho Hseueh/Ho Hseuh in 1949, still in service in 1959. Displacement 250 (normal)-291 (full) tons and as original dimensions 55,9 x 8,23 x 0,79 metres. Propulsion consisted of 3 vertical triple expansion steam engines and 2 cylindrical boilers supplying 1,400 hp allowing a maximum speed of 15 knots. Coal bunker capacity 81 tons. Crew numbered 59 men. Armament consisted of 2x1-7,6cm/23 51-Shiki guns and 6x1-6,5cm/ 115 guns., in 1940 5x1-6,5cm/115 guns, 3x1-2,5cm/60 96-shiki guns and 1-13,2cm/76 gun. In 1959 displacement 215 tons, a crew numbering 86 men and an armament of 3-3”guns, 3-2,5 cm guns and 3 machine guns.
