German Greenland whaler Hoop en Gedult lost according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamse courant dated 4 June 1772

An item dated Hamburg, Germany 29 May reported the arrival a day earlier [29 May or 3 June?] of commandeur Lammers 29 quardelen seal blubber leaving the ice on 8 May. He confirmed the loss of the Hoop en Geduld commandeur Andresen taking the commandeur and some crew members on board.
