American single screw bulk oil tanker design T2 M.C. hulls 142-147 in 1946

Steel built, with raked stem and cruiser stern. Dimensions 501.4½ (over all) x 68.0 (molded) x 37.0 (molded depth) x 29.8½ (load draught molded) feet, deadweight 15,910 tons, gross tonnage 9,890 tons , net tonnage 5,928 tons and tank cargo capacity 130.016 barrels. The aft positioned turbine propulsion supplied 12,000 shp maximum horsepower allowing a speed of 16½ knots. Prewar domestic cost 2,460,000 US dollars, domestic war cost 3,197,897 US dollars, unadjusted statutory sales price 2,152,500 US dollars and floor price 1,598,949 US dollars.
