Dutch whaler De Juffr. Maria for sale at auction at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1734

Shipbrokers Cornelis van Ommeren, Claas Mol, Jan Campen, Jacob de Flines and Jan de Jong. Auction at Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement, Haarlemmerdyk, Amsterdam on Monday 27 September 1734 of the fluyt De Juffr. Maria, commandeur Jan Lolling. (1) Lying between the Kraans and Hannekes Boom. Built in 1717. Doubled with oak as far at the keel. Rigging partly renewed in 1731 and new main mast placed in 1733. Dimensions 113½ (prow) x 28  (first beam before large hatch within the hull) x 12 (depth of hold at first beam before large hatch on load line) x 6.5½ (height verdeck first beam before large hatch) x 8.6½ (height steering wheel area), all-in Amsterdam foot.

1. Identical to Jan Fockesz Lollìng? Davis Strait commandeur 1732-1737 and 1741-1742, in 1734 for Theodore Passlegue, Amsterdam 2 whales 90 barrels blubber. Alphabetische naam-lyst van alle de Groenlandsche en Straat-Davidsche Commandeurs die sedert het jaar 1700 op Groenland en sedert het jaar 1719 op de Straat Davis etc. Gerret van Sant.
