Dutch whaling fluyt ship Vissers Hoop for sale at auction at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1783

Shipbrokers Tamme Beth Ysbrandsz, Sanuel Arnold Lenaertz and Hendrik Beth. Auction at Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement, Haarlemmerdyk, Amsterdam on Monday 3 March 1783. Lying at the shipyard of Lugt and Van der Swet, Bikkers Eiland, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Dutch whaling fluytship Vissers Hoop, commandeur Cornelis Formersz Neef. Built in 1759. Dimensions 113  (prow) x 28.5  (first beam before large hatch within the hull) x 12.4 (depth of hold at first beam before large hatch on load line) x 6.10  (height verdeck first beam before large hatch) x 9.6  (height steering wheel area), all-in Amsterdam foot. Sold for ƒ 15,000 to Jacob Lakeman&Co.
