Tasmanian whaler Fortitude spoken according to the Colonial Times dated Friday 25 January 1850

An item reported that the Hobart Town whaler Fortitude was spoken on 1 January 1850 about 30 miles east of Cape Howe with 2 whales alongside resulting in a load of 200 barrels sperm oil.
