An item reported that escorts of a convoy bound for Malta succeeded in sinking 2 enemy submarines. With the one sunk earlier in the Mediterranean and 3 in the Atlantic (Summaries 242-243) were that month 6 enemy submarines sunk, 5 by British and 1 by Canadian warships.
