British whaling barque Montreal visited Bay of Islands, New Zealand in 1836

A list reported the arrival at Bay of Islands on 29 November 1836 of the British whaling barque Montreal, master Stewart, homeport London returning from the sperm oil fishery with a cargo of 1,700 barrels oil.
