Japanese cargo ship Kogyo Maru 1938-1944

Call sign JZEM. Laid down by Uraga Dock Co. Ltd., Uraga, Japan on 16 May 1938, launched on 6 June 1938, completed on 2 February 1939, requisitioned by the navy on 30 August 1941, became an auxiliary transport, sunk in an Allied aircraft on Busuanga Island on 24 September 1944 and stricken on 10 November 1944. Gross tonnage 6,353 tons, net tonnage 3,732 tons and as dimensions 432.2 x 59.0  x 32.8 x 9.6 (light)-27.6 loaded) feet. Steam turbine propulsion, 517 nhp and range 10,000 nautical miles/cruising speed (>12 knots).
