Japanese cargo ship Kosin Maru or Koshin Maru 1938-1944

Call sign JPKA. Built by Osaka Iron Works Ld., Innoshima in 1938 and sunk by a fire on 9 August 1944 north east of Keellung, Taiwan. Gross tonnage 6,530 tons, net tonnage 3,732 tons and as dimensions 424.1 x 57.0 x 34.4 x 9.6 (light)-27.6 loaded) feet. Steam turbine propulsion, 517 nhp and range 10,000 nautical miles/cruising speed (>12 knots).
