Source Bundesarchive RM 3/22928 French photo album 1900
Laid down by AG Vulcan, Stettin, Germany with yard number 234 in 1896, launched on 4 May 1897, auxiliary cruiser and scuttled by her own crew after a battle with the British cruiser HMS Highflyer off the coast of Spanish Sahara on 26 August 1914 and broken up in 1952 or 1960.
