German armoured cruiser SMS Prinz Adalbert 1900-1915

Laid down as “B” by Kaiserliche Werft, Kiel, Germany with yard number 27 in April 1900, launched on 22 June 1901, commisssioned on 12 January 1904 and torpedoed and sunk by the British submarine HMS E8 20 nautical miles west of Libau [Liepaja, Latvia] on 23 October 1915. Part of Prinz Adalbert-class preceded by SMS Prinz Heinrich succeeded by Roon-class.
