Part of the Northern Fleet. Part of the Northern Fleet. Project 671 RTMK Shchuka, called by NATO Victor III preceded by November-class succeeded by Alfa and Akula classes. Laid down by Sudomekh Shipyard on 31 January 1991, launched on 17 October 1991 and commissioned on 24 September 1992.
