Intentions for building a nuclear-propelled Japanese oceanographic survey ship in 1962

An item referred to an announcement that Japan intended to built her first nuclear-propelled ship. It was to be a flush-decked oceanographic survey ship annex experimental facility with as dimensions 285 x 45 feet, 332 tons deadweight and a pressurized-water reactor with a pari of 4,000hp steam turbines and 19 knots speed.
