Call sign JEJD. Laid down by Asano S.B. Co. Ltd. Tsurumi, Japan on 10 November 1919, launched on 1 May 1920, delivered on 29 May 1920 and lost in an air attack in 1944. Gross tonnage 5,467 tons, under deck 4,996 tons, netto tonnage 3,409 tons and as dimensions 400.00 x 53.2 x 29.4 x 8 (light)-26 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating propulsion, single screw, horsepower 513 nhp, bunker capacity 1850 tons, range 13,500 nautical miles/10 knots and speed 10 (normal cruising)-12 (maximum) knots.
