Greek destroyers of the Vasilefs Georgios-class

The Vasilefs Georgios-class consisted of the Vasilefs Georgios and the Vasilissa Olga. The latter was laid down on 1938 at England and take part in many operations in the Mediterranean and was sunk in 1943 at Lakki/Leros Island by German Stukas. Her sister ship was in dry dock when Germany invade Greece and the ship was captured and renamed Hermes. Dimensions 98m x 8 x 3,5 m. Armament consisted of 4-120 mm guns, 4-37mm guns and 8-21" torpedo tubes. Their speed was 36 Knots.
