Building of warships in Italy for Siam [Thailand] according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad evening edition dated 28 September 1935

According to a tiding from Trieste was that the intention to launch that day at the yard Monfalcone in the presence of princess Mahidol, mother of the young king of Siam [Thailand] the first of the torpedo boats built on behalf of the navy of Siam. Nine more torpedo boats and 2 minelayers for Siam were still on stocks at this yard.
