Dutch whaler De Goede Intentie for sale at Amsterdam according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsche Courant dated 29 November 1787

An announcement reported that the brokers T. Beth Ysbrandsz, H. Beth Tammesz and A.D. van Wyk intended to sell on an auction on Monday 3 December in the Nieuwezyds Heeren Logement at Amsterdam an extra ordinary well sailing fluytship De Goede Intentie, master Heere Luitjes in 1773 newly fitted out as whaler, in 1787 in England intensively repaired, dimensions 113 x 29 x 12’6½”, height verdeck 6’8” and steering platform 9’.
