In the archive of the town Flushing (inv.no. 5533) is a list preserved with the names of the warships built by the former navy shipyard at Flushing which became afterwards the shipyard De Schelde, nowadays still existing as part of the Damen Shipyards Group.
The list is dated 12 December 1875 and made by the book-keeper of the Royal Company De Schelde using the present name signs found on the so-called Moellezolder (loft). He supplied the names of 61 ships in chronological order. The so-called boats must have been sail gunboats.

1. The newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated Thursday 19 August 1858 reported that in the evening of last Monday the experiments with the lights lit were successful. This lightship destined for the position Noord Hinder was to brought to her destination by a steamship of the government.
