Paris contracted Dutch shipyard for building dredgers, transports and elevator to serve on the Seine according to the Dutch newspaper Haarlem’s Dagblad dated 18 October 1886

The council of the French city Paris contracted the shipyard Conrad of Th. Figee at Haarlem, Netherlands recently to build dredgers, transports and a very large elevator to be able to dredger away the sandbanks alongside the Seine. This order supplied again employment for a large number of labourers for a long time.
