American tug Bronson burned according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 12 July 1899

An item dated Chicago 6 July reported that the tug Bronson was lost due to fire on the St. Lawrence. Two crewmembers died, one was severely wounded by the fire.
