Brazilian freighter Arubutan torpedoed according to the Dutch newspaper Dagblad van het Zuiden dated Wednesday 11 March 1942

An item dated Washington 10 March reported that according to the navy department the Brazilian freighter Arubutan of 7,784 gross tons was torpedoed in the night of Saturday-Sunday off Newport.
