Danish navy bought Dutch tug according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 17 February 1916

An item reported that the Danish navy bought a tug build by the shipyard of the Gebrs. G. en H. Bodewes at Martenshoek of 68 gross register tons. She was named Fremadd II.(1)

1. The Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 11 December 1915 published an item dated Martenshoek 10 December. The seagoing tug Gebroeders Bodewes 3 which was being build at the shipyard N.V. scheepswerven v/h Gebr. G. en H. Bodewes and build for their own account was sold to the Danish navy. The trials of Delfzijl were successful with the 250 ihp compound engine allowing a speed of 11 knots. She was inspected on the shipyard of mrs. Niestern at Delfzijl and handed over to the Danish navy. She was now waiting for her Danish crew and would depart as the Fremad within one of these days to Copenhagen. The departure was the 15th reported the De Tijd dated the 20th. The Dutch website http://www.sshercules.nl/1915_1979_hercules.htm mentioned that she in 1978 was sold to the Netherlands. She was renamed Hercules and apparently still exist nowadays with Schiedam as homeport.
