Dutch steam tanker Tarakan sold to be broken up according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad voor het Noorden dated 17 January 1934

An item reported that the Dutch tank steam ship Tarakan of 1,642 gross tons and build in 1913 owned by the Kon. Paketvaart Mij of Amsterdam was sold to be broken up.

Capacity 1,642 gross and 983 net tons of 2,83 cubic metres and a loading capacity 1976 tons including bunker capacity of 1,016 kg and a bunker capacity of 198 tons of 1,016 kg, call sign THDN.
