US navy gets increased budget for modernizing and building according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 11 December 1928

An item dated Washington 11 December reported that the navy commission of the House of Representatives approved several proposals for an increased budget needed for modernizing the battleships California, Oklahoma and Nevada and the building of two submarines.
