Van Straelen-class with a displacement of 151 tons and as dimensions 33,10 (maximum) x 6,65 (maximum) x 1,86 (medium) metres. The two Werkspoor engines supplied 550 ahp driving two screws allowing a maximum speed of 12,5 miles. The armament consisted of 1-2cm machine gun. The crew numbered 12 men. Laid down at the shipyard Arnhemsche scheepsbouwmaatschappij, Arnhem, Netherlands on 28 November 1958, launched om 17 May 1960 and commissioned on 20 December.
