Van Straelen-class with a displacement of 151 tons and as dimensions 33,10 (maximum) x 6,65 (maximum) x 1,86 (medium) metres. The two Werkspoor engines supplied 550 ahp driving two screws allowing a maximum speed of 12,5 miles. The armament consisted of 1-2cm machine gun. The crew numbered 12 men. Laid down at the shipyard De Noord, Alblasserdam, Netherlands on 6 April 1959, launched on 10 May 1960 and commissioned on 19 December.
