Dutch pusher tug IJsselmeer 1941-2008


Built in 1941 at the shipyard De Haan&Oerlemans, Heusden with yard number 218 for account of J. Engelsman. At that moment she had a gross register tonnage of 45 tons and as dimensions 21,68 x 5,22 x 2,10 metres.  The 4 cylinder Industrie engine supplied 195 ahp. She was however seized by the German Kriegsmarine and commissioned in 1942 as the Hapsal serving at the Marine ausrüstingsstelle in Reval. In 1944 managed her crew to escape to Sweden where she was interned. After the Second World War was she given back to her original owner. In the years after she was property of several owners. In 1993 was she lengthened. In 2008 finally broken up although a year later her stern was used for another pusher tug namely the Dennis F.
