None South African financed dreadnought for England according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 3 April 1909

An item dated Pretoria 2 April 1909 referred the procurator-General general De Villiers (1) in the parliament of Transvaal to the proposal that South Africa would give England a dreadnought. He thought the best gift to England an united colony was and which made clear that in case of an European war England supported with all efforts.
