Dutch ship Prins van Oranje returning to Texel, Nethertlands while leaking according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 7 June 1862

An item reported that the Prins van Oranje (ex-Stad ‘s Gravenhage) captain J. Hensing underway from Newcastle towards Batavia entered on 8 April Deal while the crew refused to continue the voyage. She returned on 14 April in Texel as a so-called ’bijlegger’ while leaking.
